What are the causes of burning sensation in the vagina?
Burning sensation due to infection: Yeast and bacterial infections are the two types of infection which not only disturbs the pH level of the vagina but also disturbs the growth of healthy bacteria down there. Burning sensation due to hormonal changes: Changes in hormones impact the overall body. Pregnancy, menopause, sexual activity, puberty, old age etc. are the possible stages which bring hormonal changes. It also makes the vagina dry.
