To clean your vagina, the first and foremost step would be maintaining a basic hygiene. Do not use a loofah to clean it. Intimate wash will help you to get rid of excess oil or moistures skin dirt which develops smelling. Do this regularly. You will get help.
Use apple cider vinegar:
You can definitely use apple cider vinegar to clean your vagina because it has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It helps to fight against the odour. When it comes to fighting with the toxic discharge, apple cider vinegar comes first on the mind. It will kill bacteria and give you a clean and safe vagina. What you have to do is, mix two cups of apple cider vinegar in warm water and take a bath after having your regular bath. Specifically, clean your vagina with this water. Soak in it for about 20 minutes. Follow this remedy several times a week to get quick results.
Change the underwear:
Wearing the same underwear for more than 12 hours can harm your vagina by making the vaginal area dirty and moisture. If you normally wear satin, silk, or polyester panties, then change it to cotton ones. Always carry a panty in your bag and whenever you feel the need, wear a clean and washed panty. Surprisingly Yoghurt helps:
Yoghurt is effective in treating vaginal odour. Yoghurt or curd is rich with lactobacillus bacteria. This bacteria helps to fight bacterial infection. Moreover, it helps to maintain the normal vaginal pH level in that area.
Essential oils will help:
Essential oils are pretty good to kill many types of bad odour. Although there is very less medical research to support it, still as a basic hygiene, you can use it. Essential oils like tea tree and aloe vera oil would be helpful to kill the bacteria. You just have to mix a few drops of tea tree oil with water. You can even put few drop in the outer area of your vagina. Now soak a clean cotton handkerchief and clean the area gently.
