Sleeping is really good for your health. It keeps you healthy and energized throughout the day. It also helps you to feel refreshed after a stressful day. On an average everyone needs 7 to 8 hours of sleep. However, most people forget a very simple thing that, too much of anything can be really bad for the health, same is the case with sleeping. Sleeping too much can affect your body and mental health in a very negative way. Not many people understand the harmful impact of oversleeping. Increases the risk of heart problems
If you sleep more than 7-8 hours then you are simply inviting the chance of heart problems. People who sleep too much increase the chance of encountering Coronary heart disease, Angina and other heart problems. According to a survey by The National Health and Nutrition Examination people who sleep more than 8 hours have 10 percent more chance of having the Coronary problems.

Leads to weight gain

Increases the risk of diabetes
When you sleep too much your sugar level in blood increases. It increases your chance of getting diabetes. Sleeping too much can cause weight gain which is a contributing factor in diabetes.

Slow thinking process
Sleeping is important for your brain’s health. However, if you sleep too much then it slows down your thinking process. It harms your focus and thinking. You feel drowsy and exhausted every day.

Depression
