Foods to avoid: Foods you should avoid during UTI.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is common among women and men. In any part of the urinary system such as a bladder, urethra and kidney get infected is called as UTI. Women have more UTI problems than men. Every woman is at least once infected with urinary infection. The women’s urethra is small due to this bacteria develop quickly in the bladder and cause infection. UTI is caused by the bacteria called E. coli. There are several reasons for urinary tract infection such as changing the size of the urinary bladder, consuming contraceptive, pregnancy or menopause. During UTI, there is a problem of nausea, back pain, burning irritation during urine and fatigue. During this time there are some foods which should not be consumed.   • Alcohol
  • Citrus fruits
  • Spicy food
  • Sweet beverage
  1. Caffeine
    Caffeine should not be consumed during UTI because it causes irritation of the bladder and promotes symptoms of UTI.  The consumption of caffeine increases the infection in the bladder.   2. Alcohol

    Alcohol consumption may increase UIT
    Foods to avoid: You should not consume alcohol during UTI.

    Alcohol enhances irritation in the stomach and bladder. It makes the problem of infection more serious. In this regard, you should consume other healthy beverages which will reduce infection.

  3. Citrus fruit

  4. Spicy and oily food
    Oily foods increase the level of acid in the body and accelerate bacterial growth. It enhances UTI infections. In this regard, eat nutritious food instead of spicy food.
  5. Sweet beverage
    When you are suffering from UTI, you should avoid the consumption of sweet beverage because it enhances bacterial growth in the bladder and makes the infection very serious. In this regard, the consumption of sweet drinks should be avoided.
