A plant-based diet is any diet plan which focuses on the foods derived from a plant source. The perfect plant-based diet plan includes fruit vegetables, grains, pulses and nuts. There is no animal products (meat, fish, eggs, dairy and poultry) or processed foods included in this diet plan. Those who follow plant-based diet plant consume a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and pulses which provide them sufficient proteins, fibre minerals and nutrients, all of which are important for good health. Is plant-based diet healthy?
Plant-based diet plans are balanced and nutritionally adequate. If you follow the plant-based diet plan consistently then it provides many health benefits. This diet plan leads to Lower Body Mass Index (BMI) and lowers cholesterol levels.

Morning Meals
The major concern of plant-based diet plan is to get sufficient protein. You can add greek yoghurt for breakfast and top it with crushed nuts and add a tablespoon of flax seeds for omega-3 fatty acids. Plant-based lunch
During plant-based diet plans, you can consume green leafy vegetable during lunch and topped with beans, tofu, nuts and seeds. The green leafy vegetables are the good source of calcium. There are other options available like lentil soup. Consume it with crusty whole-grain bread or brown rice salad made with almonds, bell pepper, scallions and olive oil.

Plant-based dinner
In dinner, you can consume grilled portobello mushroom and top it with tomato and serve with roasted sweet potatoes on the side. Brown rice and black beans also make a complete protein meal.

Dealing with vitamin deficiency
The vitamin B-12 is essential for healthy nerve and blood cell function. And if you don’t eat eggs or dairy products while following a plant-based diet, you may not get adequate vitamin to meet the requirement of the body.
