What is an egg diet plan?
Eggs help to curb your hunger as it is high in protein and low carbohydrate diet. It helps you to feel fuller for longer and thus reduce the consumption of calories. Thus, you lose weight effectively. There are many variations of egg diet plan. Besides this, there is no deficiency of sufficient vitamins and minerals in the body. According to the recommendation of the dietician and the requirement of the body, one must take up this diet plan. One can include chicken, turkey, fish, grapefruit, broccoli, asparagus mushrooms, spinach etc. along with the consumption of eggs.

You can either include lean protein or low carb diet along with the egg diet plan.

Breakfast: You must include 2 boiled eggs and 1 grapefruit, or you can also have an omelette of 2 eggs with spinach and mushrooms in it. Make sure it is not deep fried.
Lunch: You can have 1/2 roasted chicken breast and broccoli in the lunch.

Besides this, people also follow low carb diet plan by adding grapefruit to their diet.

Breakfast: You must include 2 boiled eggs along with 1/2 grapefruit.
Lunch: Eat 1/2 roasted chicken breast, broccoli with 1/2 grapefruit
Dinner: Have a serving of fish and 1/2 grapefruit. Make sure you have your dinner by 8.

What are the disadvantages of following an egg diet plan?
Though egg diet plan is quite effective, it has certain shortfalls as well. Overconsumption of eggs for few days might lead to the problem of constipation and bad breath too. Following the same diet becomes quite boring fo people and they tend to discontinue it. However, there is a possibility of weight gain after you discontinue following the diet.
