With a lot of discussions going on around fitness and well being, joining a gym and taking up proteins to build up muscular body is not the only thing we require. There are some of the most common gym blunders that people do while workout but are unaware of it. Just working out on machinery is not what is meant by fitness. It means staying healthy and adopting good habits to ensure your well being.

Ignoring warm up and cool down: As important as building up muscles, warming up and cooling down are the two most important steps of a gym. No matter how if you are a pro at muscular training or fitness training, you must not skip these two steps. Whenever you start with your high intense muscle training you have to do a warm up and a cool down too, in order to avoid any kind of injuries. It will reduce the body pain if done effectively.

Not taking proper diet: Some people think dieting is another name for starving. But this is the biggest mistake you are making. Going to the gym doesn’t mean you will stop eating. In fact, our body needs more calorie count in order to burn it into energy. Thus, we need more energy to carry out a good workout regime. So, bless your body with wholesome and nutritious diet.

Not hydrating enough: While we work out, we sweat a lot. So, make sure you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and fueled. The way our body demands water for survival, same goes during a workout and to build muscles. So, here is a good method of consuming a good amount of water. All you can do is divide your body weight with 15 and drink that proper amount of water. For example, if you weigh 60kgs, divide it with 15 which comes to 4. So you should try to drink around 4 litres of water in a day.

Over training and excessive workout: We all understand your need to get a chiselled and perfect body as soon as possible. But that does not mean you will scratch life out of your body. Over muscle training or working out will only leave you in trouble.

Not undertaking flexibility training: When people undertake muscle training, they tend to forget the importance of flexibility training. It makes the body stiff and lack of other functional movements. Thus, it is utmost important to take up a fitness routine that makes the body flexible and fit.
