Now that you are 39 weeks pregnant, the time has finally arrived when you are all set to welcome your baby. So you just relax and enjoy the moment because it won’t come back again. Now the baby is occupying a major space inside your womb. Body changes and symptoms appear in the 39th week of pregnancy:
You are at the most crucial point of pregnancy now and must be facing a lot many problems in carrying the fully grown baby bulge. You must be facing enough problems in walking, sitting, lying and carrying out your activities. Your breasts may be as sensitive as ever and will be growing more with colostrum fluid (a form of milk) beginning to leak a bit. It’s the time when you must have encountered false labour pain.

The real labour contractions will disable you from walking and talking. Your body parts will continue to swell but you should continue on your consumption of water and drink as much as you can. You will even have to rush to the hospital if your water breaks during this time. It’s a sign of baby’s movement close to the cervix. Some tips for the 39th week of pregnancy:
It is the time when you have to take an extra care of yourself. You may switch to recliner instead of your bed if you find it hard to rest your body there. It is necessary to take care of your diet and eat properly balanced food for the nourishment of the baby. Don’t become inactive, engage yourself in physical work out. Development of the baby in 39th week of pregnancy
By 39th week of pregnancy the baby is completely healthy.  All the organs of baby’s body work on their own except lungs. Though lungs get matured by this week but they won’t be functional until the baby is born. Baby by now is fully active and is weighing around 7-8 pounds by this week. You must ensure that your baby is engaging in movements and is active if it doesn’t take birth by this week. It’s necessary to keep a close watch on baby’s movement at every step.

Exercise
Squats will help during labour. Squatting would actually speed labour because it increases the pelvic opening, providing more room for baby to descend.

Diet
