How exercise is related to your heart rate during Pregnancy?
If you think that you do not need to go for exercises because it can harm your baby, you are absolutely wrong. Moreover, if you do not exercise, it may affect your body badly. It is a very good way to stay healthy and flexible during pregnancy.
So, by doing various exercises you fluctuate your heart rate during pregnancy which is much needed. It helps us with these following things:
1. Exercises ease the back pain and other soreness
2. Provides a good sleep
3. No more excess weight gain
4. Increases the energy level
5. Better labour and reduces the risk of complications
So, exercising during pregnancy helps the pregnant woman in maintaining overall weight management. A healthy pregnant woman should go for moderate-intensity aerobic activity at least 150 minutes per week. It is recommended to keep the heart rate to less than 140 beats per minute. We constantly measure our heart rate during exercises to have a better watch. So, why can’t we do the same during pregnancy too? But, remember one thing that using heart rate as a measure of exertion may not be reliable in pregnancy. This happens because of the various physiological changes that happen in a pregnant body. It may affect your blood volume, heart rate and cardiac output too. But, when it is necessary for your body you have to habituate your body according to the pregnancy needs and baby’s heart rate.
So, if a pregnant woman is comfortable talking and working out then it is obvious that the woman is during pregnancy if a woman is overexerting herself.
