  2. Salt
    Hold the salt on the affected area with your finger for 30 seconds. This will give you comfort. Do this 2-3 times a day. Salt contains antimicrobial properties that reduce viral infections.
  3. Honey
    Apply the honey on the affected area for 5-7 minutes and then wash. Do this twice a day. The antimicrobial properties present in the honey decrease inflammation and itching and also reduce the blister.
  4. Ginger
    Put a piece of ginger directly on the affected part, you will feel comfortable or you can also eat ginger an empty stomach. Ginger has antiseptic and healing effects that help to fight against viruses and bacteria.
  5. Ice
    Apply ice over the blister, because it reduces inflammation and irritation. A soothing effect in ice helps in reducing cold sores. For better results, try this method is as often as you can during the day.
