How To Remove Spectacle Marks From The Skin

The major portion of the population is suffering from weak eye sight. Hence, using spectacles becomes mandatory. Though wearing specs give a cool and funky look but the same also causes discomfort. A heavy frame or the frame with pads leave a dark visible mark on the nose. This mark becomes permanent if left untreated whilst hampering the beauty of a person. Hence, to get rid of this dark spectacle patch, there are some home remedies to remove spectacle marks from the skin.

Massage The Area Well:

Massaging the eye and nose area is extremely effective to reduce the spectacle marks. You can use almond oil to massage the area as the Vitamin E present in it makes it good for skin. But always massage the area in circular and vertical motion.

Aloe Vera Gel:

The aloe vera gel has anti-inflammatory and healing properties which help the skin to reduce spots. Therefore, to remove spectacle marks, you can apply the fresh aloe vera gel on the affected area and rinse it off after 15-20 minutes once it gets dry.

Cucumber Slices:

Due to its cooling property, cucumber is soothing for eyes. Besides this, it can also help you to get spectacle marks reduced. You can put big cucumber slices on your eyes (to cover the under eye area too) and relax for few minutes. Remove it before you are off to sleep.

Rose Water:

The rose water is essential for skin too due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a great cleanser. To reduce the spectacle marks, you can apply rose water on the area with a cotton ball regularly and rinse it off after few minutes. You can see the visible changes in not a much longer time.


Squeeze half a lemon and mix the juice with equal quantity of water. Apply this mixture on the affected area with a cotton ball. Leave the same for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with water. Carry this practice for a couple of weeks or make it a habit to follow it before sleeping every day.
