Effective home remedies to get rid of itching during summers
Ice: An ice cube can bring instant relief to the itching that occurs during summers. Wrap an ice cube in a cloth and rub it over the affected area. You will get relief. One can do this 3-4 times in a day as it has no side effects.
Aloe vera: Aloe vera has soothing properties that help to bring relief to the skin. It has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties too, which help in bringing relief to the itching on the skin. Multani mitti( Fuller’s Earth): In order to provide coolness to the skin, apply some Multani Mitti on it. It brings relief to the prickly heat rashes during summers. Grind some Multani Mitti and add some water to it. Make a paste of it and apply on the affected area. You will notice the difference.
Take a cold shower: Due to excessive sweating during summer, bacteria grow on our skin which leads to immense itching. Thus, one must take a cold shower at least twice a day to reduce the itching in the body.
Salt, turmeric and fenugreek seeds: Grind salt, fenugreek seeds and turmeric in equal proportion. Mix this mixture in water and make a paste of it. Before taking a bath, apply this paste to the affected area. Take a bath after 5 minutes. You will notice the difference. You can repeat this procedure one in a week.
