Effective home remedies to get rid of the ingrown hair

Sugar Scrub
To scrub and soothe the ingrown hair one of the best options is to use a sugar scrub. For this add virgin olive oil or jojoba oil(half cup) with white sugar. Stir and then add 10 drops of tea tree oil or lavender essential oil. Then apply this scrub on the area. Scrub for few minutes in a circular motion. Wash it with lukewarm water. It will exfoliate the skin and help to remove the ingrown hair.

Tea tree oil
Make a mixture of tea tree oil and a tablespoon full of olive oil. Apply the mixture on the ingrown hair area. Massage for two minutes. Let it stay for 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Baking Soda
The baking soda helps to control the problem of itching, redness and pain. It will help to soothe the skin. For this mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of water. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture in a dabbing manner. Leave it on for 5 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Aloe vera
The aloe vera gel is wonderful in case of soothing the skin. Simply extract some fresh aloe vera and rub it on the skin. It will help to get rid of inflammation and itchiness.

Honey
