Goddess Durga spreads her blessings on her devotees by taking the roop (avatar) of nine different goddesses. Thus, the nine days of Navratri are pure and peaceful. What is the process of offering prayer during Navratri fast?

What is the significance of the fourth day of Navratri fast?
Kushmanda as the name suggests stands for Ku means little, Usma means warmth and Anda mean universe. In other words, she is the creator of the Universe. She is the fourth form of Goddess Durga. Goddess Kushmanda helps her devotees by eliminating all the negatives and enemies from their life. She is an epitome of freshness and life. Goddess Kushmanda helps to eradicate the darkness from the life of her devotees and shows them the right path. Hence, she is the guide of her followers.
