Can’t be celebrated until Moon is sighted
Like we all know that Eid is dependent on the visibility of the Moon. Unless the Moon is sighted, the period of fasting continues. When the new moon appears in the sky, Eid Ul-Fitr is celebrated. Obviously, depending on the geographical conditions, it may differ from one place to another.
Celebrated for 3 days at least
Though the celebrations last a month long as the people deprive themselves of eating during the daytime. With such a long period of observing fast, people often celebrate the festival for a month. However, if not many, it is at least celebrated for 3 days.
Prayers are important
Eid Ul-Fitr is not just the festival of breaking the fast and eat delicious Seviyan. During this time, special prayers are offered and a person devotes himself to the pious religious practices. Charity, piousness, prayers etc. are highly practised during this time. The mantra “Allah is great” is often repeated aloud several times in a day to express their thankfulness to the Almighty.

People exchange gifts and sweets to celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr. They greet each other by saying, Eid Mubarak and hug to exchange the warmth of love and affection. It enhances the feeling of festivity and spreads love all around.
