What are the subtle signs of the food addiction disorder

Addiction basically means a condition in which you are completely dependent on any substance. Most of us relate addiction to substance addiction like alcohol, drug or smoking. However, that is not the case every time. Sometimes the addiction can be of food as well. Everyone likes to have delicious and amazing food. Our sense of taste constantly looks for new cuisines and food option to satisfy the cravings. However, sometimes this behaviour gets out of hand and turn into an addiction. Food addiction is a mental illness in which the person finds it hard to fight the urge to eat all the time. Like any addiction, it makes the person the slave of his or her mind.

  • Inability to stay hungry, the food addict can not stay hungry even for a short period of time.
  • Eating too much and all the time.
  • Eating even when you are full, or at least thinking about eating.
