Pain during periods is unbearable. Most of the women face unbearable pain during the first four days of periods. The pain also causes a lot of trouble for them as they face difficulty in performing any physical task. To get rid of this unbearable pain, women consume medicines. Surprisingly, these medicines have many side effects on the health. Majority of the women are not aware that the yoga can also provide relief from unbearable pain. Let’s know the period pains can overcome with the help of yoga asana.
To do this, first, come in dog downward position. Your hands and knees should be in a straight line. Your knees should be side by side and a little away. This is the starting posture. After this take a breath and push your face to the outside, then breathe out and take your chin towards the chest. Practice 10 times like this.
Advantage: Women who have menstrual disorders and leukorrhea get relief from this yoga. It also helps in getting rid of the cramps that occur during periods.
To practice this yoga, first of all, sit down and spread your legs. After that turn your right leg and take your toe closer to the knee of the left foot. After this, breathe and stretch your left hand and take your left hand close to your right knee while releasing the breath. After that, move your right hand back towards the waist, along with your neck also move on the right side. Stay in this posture for some time and breathe normally and come back in normal posture a little later. Similarly, repeat this from the other side as well. Advantage: It helps in relaxing the waist pain during menstruation.
To practice this, lie down on the floor and twist your feet. Then take your ankles near your buttocks. After that keep your hands near your buttocks. Now breathe and lift your buttocks upwards to a level smooth. After this, when leaving your breath, bring your waist back to the floor. Do this 10 times.
Advantage: This posture helps to relax the upper and lower muscles of your waist.
To do this, lie down on your back. After this, bring your right foot towards your chest and hold the knee with your hands and bring it towards the chest. If you feel comfortable then you can straighten the left foot. Similarly, repeat from the other side also.
