Kareena Kapoor Khan has been in the news of late for her tremendous weight loss after her pregnancy. After giving birth to the Bollywood’s dearest Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor had been hitting the gym and taking up yoga sessions to retain back in shape. Kareena Kapoor Khan has proudly flaunted her baby bump and pregnancy glow like a pro when she gained 18kgs. Now that she is making her comeback to the screen after her first baby, she is giving a tough call to all the actresses in Bollywood. Veere di wedding starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskara, Shikha Talsania and Kareena Kapoor Khan, caught the eyes of the Bebo lovers. Kareena Kapoor Khan has been under the guidance of the celebrity fitness expert Namrata Purohit who is responsible for Kareena’s diet and fitness routine.

Kareena Kapoor Khan does Pilates for around three-four times a week, sometimes more if she’s in town for around 45 minutes, says her Mumbai-based fitness expert Namrata Purohit. Not just this, Kareena Kapoor Khan believes in walking as the best fitness exercise. She herself confessed that this good old-fashioned exercise has helped her a lot to make a strong core. Kareena Kapoor Khan believes in eating enough to fuel her body in order to carry out her daily work routine. She includes Soy milk and nuts in her diet. She says one must never follow a crash diet as it affects the body negatively. We all need a balanced diet thus we must eat properly and after every 3 hours. Much to the surprise of all, Kareena Kapoor Khan follows a strict vegetarian diet. Not just this, she also ensures that her body gets all the nutrition and in an adequate amount. Once in a week Kareena Kapoor goes for a cheat day and eat cheese too. Besides this, she believes in drinking almost 8-10 glasses of water per day to stay hydrated and fit.

Breakfast: Muesli, cheese, bread slices or paranthas with milk, soya milk
Lunch: Chapattis, dal, adequate green salads and soup.
Snacks: Protein shake and fruits
Dinner: Chapattis, dal or vegetable soup

Kareena Kapoor Khan does not eat rice at all, as it leads to weight gain.

Yoga

Kareena Kapoor also does Yoga for 2 hours a day. She believes that it helps her in attaining the mental peace. Surya Namaskar, Ashtanga yoga, Kapalbhati are some of her daily yoga routine poses.
