Getting dark spots on the face is very embarrassing. The harmful sun rays, pollution and exposure to harsh chemicals may result in dark spots. Actually, our skin contains a pigment called ‘Melanin’ which gives the skin its colour. However, when this pigment is produced in excess it causes dark spots on the skin. Lemon, Turmeric and Milk:
The turmeric has antiseptic properties which prevent the skin. Also, turmeric has the potential to reduce the dark spots on the skin. Therefore, to use turmeric as a remedy for the dark spot, mix 1 spoon of turmeric powder, half spoon of lemon juice and 1 spoon of milk together to form a paste. Apply this paste as a mask on the face, keep it for at least 10 minutes and wash it off with water later.
Lemon and Coconut Oil:
The coconut has an antioxidant property which reduces the dark spot on the skin and also hydrates it. The coconut also reduces the damage caused to skin due to dirt and pollution. Therefore, to get great benefits of the same to need to take 2 to 3 drops each of coconut oil and lemon juice. Mix it well and apply the same on the face and leave it for 20 minutes.
The Lemon Juice and Parsley:
The parsley can help to lessen the dark spots while giving a fairer skin tone. To apply the lemon and parsley mixture, you need 1 cup of chopped parsley, 2 cups of water and 1 spoon of lemon juice. Boil parsley in water for 10-15 minutes. Strain the mixture and add to it the spoon of lemon juice. Let the mixture cool and apply the same on the skin. Let it remain for 30 minutes and then wash the face with water.
Cucumber and Lemon Juice:
The cucumber has bleaching properties which give a glow to skin minimising the appearance of spots. Therefore, take cucumber juice, lemon juice and honey. Mix the ingredients well and apply the same on the face for at least 10 minutes. Wash it off later.
Yoghurt and Lemon Juice:
The yoghurt has natural enzymes which are great for skin to reduce dark spots. Therefore, you have to apply lemon juice on the face and once it is dried, you need to apply yoghurt on top of it. Leave the same for 8-10 minutes and later wash it off with water. The lemon juice and yoghurt mixture keeps the balance in skin’s natural oil production.
