Holi 2018: How to take care of your skin before Holi

The festival of Holi is one of the most awaited festivals of the Hindus. It marks the awakening of the spring. It is celebrated with colours, music and festivities. However, when you are playing with colours on holi. There is a possibility that the chemical present in the colours can really damage your skin. It can lead to burning sensation on the skin, rashes, acne and other problems. Therefore, it is important to take care of skin and prepare it for holi celebration. Almond oil
The almond oil is really good for your skin. When you get ready to play Holi, then apply almond oil on your body. The almond oil is full of vitamin E, which shields your skin against the possible chemical damage due to colours.

Petroleum jelly
Protecting your lips from the chemical damage due to colour is equally important. So make sure you apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly on your lips. The thick layer helps to protect the lips in the best possible ways. Ice cubes
Before you start playing Holi, make sure your massage the skin with ice cubes. It will open up your pores and then you can apply oil to your skin. It will prevent the possible acne.

When you go out to play holi make sure you wear full sleeved clothes. This will prevent the colours to reach the skin or the skin to come in direct contact with the chemicals. So, wear loose, full sleeved cotton clothes.

Sunscreen
