Our eyes are the most sensitive part of the body. We all are aware of the fact, that eyes are the main part where the signs of ageing first start to appear. This ultimately makes our face look older and lose its charm. There are many factors which make our face and eyes look more aged than what we actually are. We all have to grow old, but getting the signs of ageing before the actual time, is something unwelcoming. There have been multiple reasons that contribute to making our skin look old and aged.
Pollution, excess exposure to Sun, unhealthy diet, smoking, lack of skin care routine etc. make our look our skin and eye area older than it is in actual. How to prevent ageing around the eyes?
Massage the area around eyes: One should regularly massage the area around the eyes. Massaging accelerate the flow of blood and make it flow properly through the veins around the eyes> this prevents the onset of wrinkles and signs of ageing to show up on the eyes. Apply coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil or whichever suits your skin the best.
Mint leaves: You can mix the mint leaves in aloe vera gel and gently massage around the eye area. It will provide coolness to the eyes and prevent inflammation. It also soothes any kind of burning sensation around the eyes. Besides this, it helps the eyes to relax after a long hectic day. Take proper sleep: One should sleep properly for at least 7-8 hours in a day to avoid the appearance of dark circles. Dark circles tend to make the eyes and skin look older than what they are. Thus, it is important to have a sound sleep daily as lack of sleep is the major cause of dark circles.
Use cucumber: One should place cucumber slices on the eyes and relax for sometime. Cucumber is known for its cooling effect, thus cucumber is a blessing for eyes. Take a chilled cucumber and place its slices over the eyes and sit quietly. It will provide you relief from any pain and irritation in the eyes and also will keep your eyes well hydrated.
Besides this, one should eat a hand full of nuts and drink plenty of water every day to maintain the glow of the skin.
